Daisy Jopling:
Daisy Jopling, hailed by Broadway World as “Brilliantly Entertaining” and by Time Out magazine as “a sublimely gifted musician”, has toured the world with her band, recorded 8 albums including 2 with BMG RCA Victor, and recently performed her own original show at Lincoln Center. She is passionate about music education, and is thrilled to be presenting young local talented musicians along with her band at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center.
Daisy’s latest album “Awakening”, consisting of her own original music, was released worldwide on February 3rd 2017 under the label Fleur de Son Classics with Naxos Worldwide Distribution.
Her solo work has included playing a concerto at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the age of 14, playing twice before 30,000 people at the opening of the Vienna Festival and touring with her band to 23 stunning concert halls in China.
Daisy has composed music for various ensembles which has been performed in major concert halls throughout the world, and for the last 3 years she has performed her own shows “The String Pulse Experience” and “Awakening” for her Band, orchestra, solo singers, dancers, and youth choir, enhanced by custom made lighting design and projections. Both shows give opportunities to young instrumentalists, singers and dancers to perform on world class stages alongside world class musicians. A documentary film about the String Pulse Experience has aired on Mountain Lake PBS, and is planned for a national PBS airing in 2018.
