DESCRIPTION:In observance of MLK Jr. Day and Black History Month\, the New Castle Committee on Inclusion and Belonging invites the community to a screening of the acclaimed documentary Ain’t No Back to a Merry-Go-Round  at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center. \nThe film explores the 1960 Glen Echo Park sit-ins\, highlighting how young Black activists\, alongside Jewish\, Quakers\, and interfaith allies challenged segregation through nonviolent action. The screening will be followed by a moderated discussion led by Joyce Sharock Cole\, Village of Ossining Historian and Board member of JTC Experiences and co-author of the film’s official educational guide\, developed in collaboration with the film’s director. \nRESERVE YOUR SEAT HERE
