A close ally of Martin Luther King Jr.\, Belafonte was pivotal in the civil rights movement\, championing equality and justice. \nChappaqua Library in partnership with the Town of New Castle Committee on Inclusion & Belonging.

DESCRIPTION:Featuring Holocaust Survivor Tova Freidman \nThis year commemorates the 80th Anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. \nJoin us to hear from one of the youngest Auschwitz survivors\, Tova Friedman. Only six years old when Auschwitz was liberated\, Tova survived a string of near-death experiences while never giving up hope. \nProgram is free but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED HERE \nThis event is co-sponsored by the Town of New Castle Holocaust & Human Rights Committee and the ENOUGH and ENOUGH Jr Club (Educate Now On Understanding Genocide and Hate).
